DESIGN CONSULTATION

Design consultation is just that....you as our client will have the opportunity to share your ideas in an one-on-one home experience. DKDESIGNSSTUDIO will guide you through the process of getting exactly what you want for your space. The time allotted for this consultation is 90 minutes for $175.  During this consultation the designer will leverage knowledge and experience to bring your vision to life both functionally and aesthetically. It is ultimately the desire of DKDESIGNSSTUDIO that you will have a space with which you are greatly pleased.

EDESIGNS

DKDESIGNSSTUDIO provides this service for our do-it-yourself clients. DKDESIGNSSTUDIO provides a detailed designed direction and plan for your space and you will execute the designs yourself. Our eDesign services allows clients to go at their own pace.  The client will provide DKDESIGNSSTUDIO with dimensions, photos and your desired aesthetic and function for the space. What is so great about this option is you can be anywhere for DKDESIGNSSTUDIO to provide this service. If you are in the Dallas, Maryland. Atlanta or Virginia areas DKDESIGNSSTUDIO is available to come to you. The price of this service is $500 per room and/or eDesign.

DKDESIGNSSTUDIO also offers to take this process beyond the detailed eDESIGN concept.  We can provide online sourcing for you.  We completely understand that most people do not enjoy this part but we do.....contact us now!!!  The price of this service starts at $750 depending on the scope of work.

FULL SERVICES DESIGN BUILD RENOVATIONS

DKDESIGNSSTUDIO will conduct an initial program meeting on-site to obtain measurements and photos, further information of the desired scope of work to be rendered. A Design Concept Presentation will follow with possible interim meetings or connections along the way.  Documentation of the design with construction documents and specifications will be developed for the general contractor to provide a construction bid.

DKDESIGNSSTUDIO will provide finish samples and design concepts for client approval.  For our clients where DKDESIGNSSTUDIO is purchasing furnishings we will go through the quoting process and submit our pricing on individual items as decisions are made. When DKDESIGNSSTUDIO is doing any custom work, like window treatments, re-upholstery, any new furnishings, etc., this is a process that can sometimes take up to 10 weeks.  DKDESIGNSSTUDIO will always provide our clients with an interiors and/or construction schedule prior to the execution of work. 

THE AGREEMENT: After our program meeting(s), DKDESIGNSSTUDIO will submit a Letter of Agreement detailed with the scope of work/services to be rendered to our clients.

BILLING AND DESIGN FEES: DKDESIGNSSTUDIO works on a lump sum or percentage of project total budget.  After meetings with our client and developing a clear understanding of the client's vision and job scope of work a fee structure is determined for the projects.  DKDESIGNSSTUDIO requires an initial payment to initiate work.  The fee is used as a retainer and will be applied to your final installment.
